(Exchange Version 6.5 (Build 7638.2: Service Pack 2)) Error code: 0xc00413bc, There is no storage group which can be backed up using VSS. All of the databases in the storage group may be dismounted.
Haven't called NetApp support just yet as I am remote.

Seems like VSS isn't playing nicely, or all the databases are dismounted ?

Have you checked with your Exchange Admin ? They may have either offlined some information store or newly created a store that's still offline. -G

+1 on the storage group changes, SMSQL will freak if a SQL DB is added or removed. Try re-running the SME configuration wizard to see if this helps.
Also does Snapdrive lists all the LUNs properly?

The only time I've seen this is when the MSDTC repository is added to a LOG/DB LUN. Check this first. Or a store could be dismounted as the error suggests.
Definitely appears to be a config change...

I haven¹t seen that error specifically, but I would guess that it would either mean that the security style is mixed and been set to unix by access from a unix host, or the cfmode is set to mixed where it was expecting something else. Have you changed anything prior to this error occurring?

I just spoke with Kevin and the issue is resolved. It turns out the customer created another Exchange database and forgot that they needed to run the Configuration Wizard again afterwards.
