I haven’t seen that error specifically, but I would guess that it would either mean that the security style is mixed and been set to unix by access from a unix host, or the cfmode is set to mixed where it was expecting something else. Have you changed anything prior to this error occurring?

Haven’t called NetApp support just yet as I am remote.
