I just spoke with Kevin and the issue is resolved.  It turns out the customer created another Exchange database and forgot that they needed to run the Configuration Wizard again afterwards.

Has anyone seen this message next to your storage groups in SnapManager for Exchange?

This follows an asup SME failure message. Last item in /etc/messages is

 

Thu Feb 21 04:00:38 EST [<storage_appliance>: app.log.err:error]: <Exchange_Host>: SME Version 3.2: (111) Backup: SnapManager for Exchange online backup failed.  (Exchange Version 6.5 (Build 7638.2: Service Pack 2)) Error code: 0xc00413bc, There is no storage group which can be backed up using VSS. All of the databases in the storage group may be dismounted.

 

Haven’t called NetApp support just yet as I am remote.
