At my site, the current policy is to have a separate two-disk root
volume, as during our first tests with filers, one of my system
developers managed to crash a filer by filling the root volume.
It is kind of waste of disk space, so I have allowed use of the root
volume on one or two filers, although with fascistic control of the
qtree quotas in order to avoid the above.
