R100 with 256 meg cf card

I've tried to upgrade two r100's from 32 meg CF cards to 256 meg CF cards (so we can have a backup boot image with OnTap 6.5) On both occasions it's pretty much choked as soon as it's tried to see the 256 meg card and we've had to do some messing around to get a single image onto the card I'm beginning to think that an R100 running 6.4.x just can't see a 256meg cf card correctly and was wondering if anyone else has had a problem doing this? Asalam Malekum As you read this, I don't want you to feel sorry for me, because, I believe everyone will die someday. My name is Malik Hafiz , a Muslim Caribbean Merchant in the Caribbean Island I have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer, which was discovered very late, due to my laxity in carrying for my health. It has defiled all forms of medicine, and right now I have only about a few months to live, according to medical experts. I have since lost my power of speech and can only manage to write now; as that has been the only way I am able to communicate.I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I never really cared for anyone not even myself but my business. Though I am very rich, I was never generous, I was always hostile to people and only focus on my business as that is the only thing I cared for. But now I regret all this as I now know that there is more to life than just wanting to have or make all the money in the world. I believe when the Almighty gives me a second chance to come to this world I would live my life a different way from how I have lived it. Now that I know my time is near, I have willed and given most of my properties and assets to my immediate and extended family members and as well as a few close friends. I want theAlmighty to be merciful to me and accept my soul and so, I have decided to give alms to charity Organizations, as I want this to be one of the last good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed money to some charity organizations in the Caribbean Island, London and Ireland. Now that my health has deteriorated so badly, I cannot do this my self any more. I once asked members of my family to close one of my accounts and donate the money, which I have there to charity organization in Bulgaria, they refused and kept the money to themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as they seem not to be contended with what I have left for them. The last of my money which only few of them knows of is the huge cash deposit that I have with a security firm. I will want you to help me collect this deposit and dispatched it to charity organizations. Clicking FC9 Disks

Odd question for you guys. I've got a ton of FC9 shelfs on a variety of boxes, including an X86 VA Linux server, several on a Sun Ultra2 (for ZFS testing) and dozens of them on 2 FAS840's. All of them in this one room are doing the same thing, making this odd clicking noise. Its an odd sound, like a crackling noise, which at first I mistook for ice chips bouncing around in the AC ductwork. The sound doesn't seem good, but honestly, even though I've been around FC9 shelves for years, this is the first time I've had so many in such a quiet space. Perhaps this is a normal sound and I just couldn't hear it over screaming colo AC units before? The other thing that I find odd is that the same sound is coming from the FC9 disks on the FAS840's as from the shelves on my Ultra2 and VA Linux box. Clearly its not OnTap resetting disks. In all cases the disks are dead idle 99% of the time. The 840 is a nearline solution which snapmirrors at night, and the Ultra2 and VA box are just for filesystem testing. I'm really embarrassed that I don't know whats going on. Any pointers or similar experiences from anyone else? benr.

The messages file doesn't have anything unusual in it, nor does the weekly autosupport notifications.
