we have no NFS here, and even if we had, I would never try it out.
First, I cannot imagine how NFS should work where CIFS does not while handling CIFS-data.
The scond reason is, what happens to spaces, special characters, ...
And third, wo should NFS handle the nested group permissions of CIFS. With Unix-schema owner/group/world the filer would calculate the permissions for the given user - and after the copy all detailed ACL-information would be lost.
