DOT 6.2.2 - ndmpcopy

When I try to run ndmpcopy from one of my filers' (840s) console prompt, it locks up and does not release the console until after it is done not allowing me to type anything else in. I realize that I can run ndmpcopy from any other hosts I'm just wondering if this is the correct behavior. Wrapping pktt trace?

To catch an application problem, I want to leave pktt trace running on a filer...overnight. If I do, it'll fill it up. I know you can tell it to bound the amount of space it uses, but I think it stops tracing once it hits that. Is there any way to get it to keep tracing within a bounded amount of disk space, just overwriting old trace files? That way I would have the last few hours of trace. Attaching 4700 to an FAS940

I'm coming in on Sunday to cable two Sun L280 (4700?) DLT 7000 7 tape stackers to my FAS940. Support told me that the system will probe the SCSI controller and yield the correct device types. Here's my sysconfig -v output: slot 8: SCSI Host Adapter 8a (Adaptec AIC7899A) HW Version 0.0 Ultra160 SCSI, Low Voltage Differential slot 8: SCSI Host Adapter 8b (Adaptec AIC7899A) HW Version 0.0 Ultra160 SCSI, Low Voltage Differential Anything I should know to get these bad boys to work? I'll be configuring them as NDMP devices from my Legato 6.1.3 server next week. Thanks in advance! -Rob
