My apologies, I should have provided more detail. This is not a set up as a
share, however it was a home directory for a user.

Hi Paul,
If this is a explicit CIFS share then you have to unshare this shared
folder from the Server manager and then delete it.
Let me know if this helps.

Subject: Cannot delete folder in volume.
I can't delete a folder in one of my volumes. I'm trying to delete it
from
Windows Explorer and I get an error that, "Cannot remove folder
blahblah.
There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may
be
in use." I have checked the CIFS sessions and check Server Manager, and
neither one of these shows that it is in use. Any thoughts (short of
stopping and re-starting CIFS) on how I can free this up to delete it?
Thanks!
