CarrierScan for filers provides on-access file scanning with ONTAP 6.1. When a file of a type you specify is accessed by the user, the filer asks a registred virus scanning server to scan the file before the user gets it. For what it's worth, we had pretty much the same experiences with Legato. Terrible support, buggy software, etc. However, I'm informed by our backups administrator that recently, Legato has changed their tune quite a bit. Their customer support has been much more responsive and helpful, and the latest releases (v6?) is their most stable and reliable release in years. You may need to install an MS Exchange update (I believe the one from May 2000 can help in these cases) Please talk to NetApp support about this. Greetings, I have some problems migrating Exchange 5.5 database files to the filer. I tried to use SnapManager, but I get error mesage saying: error running isinteg -patch. Isinteg.exe is in BIN directory. You can find screen capture here: http://www.ourspace.si/snap.jpg What would I have to do, to manualy move the database files.
