But, does anyone know if there is a maximum number of inodes? Does anyone out there have volumes with over 200 million inodes and have you seen any issues with those types of volumes? We've got an application that's generating about 5-10 million inodes a month (don't ask) and I'm concerned about that. Will this be a problem? Thanks! ndmp backup choices

hi, i am testing the current versions of quick restore[2.7.3] from workstation solutions and backup express[2.13c] from syncsort. my ndmp proxy server is a sun box running solaris 2.6 and i have a spectralogic treefrog directly attached to my f760. i would appreciate any comments from anyone who runs either quick restore or backup express on the good and/or bad parts. thanks --

Question re: Unisys drives and qual_devices

Hi... I'm working with a Unisys chassis and some Unisys drives. It recognizes the drives, configures them, compains about "No SCSI-3 Enclosure Services on host adapter 8 shelf 1" (the Unisys shelf). Then it comes up and shuts down. The drives that aren't liked are: 8.11: UNISYS 007114ST39102FC A921 So I added: D UNISYS 007114ST39102FC A921 To the end of my qual_devices, but the filer still shuts down if it sees the drives.
