Sun allows you to define different trunking policies: - mac - round robin - IP destination address - IP source/destination addres For more information, go to http://docs.sun.com , I think the sun trunking manual is online. We do publish a calculation that you can use to estimate the "Mean Time to Data Loss" based on the MTBF for each type of drive. Hi All, As requested, we have modified our "downtime" statement to make it clear when the NOW site is down for scheduled downtime or due to technical difficulties . Also we posted our scheduled downtime information in a link off of the NOW home page (located at the bottom). In the near future we will be moving away from monthly releases and will move towards quarterly releases-which equates to more uptime for our users.
