Hi, Glenn:
Third parties (non-authorized NetApp resellers) provide the full range of NetApp product and support services, with the principal exception of continuous DataOntap fixes and updates, and can provide a LOT of difference in pricing.
Nevertheless, if and when required, unbundled software update contracts can be purchased directly from NetApp or an authorized reseller.

We use both NetApp and resellers - I cannot see a LOT of difference in their pricing. I'll tell you this, though: if you buy a LOT from them, they'll work with you on the price. Very easy to deal with, in my opinion.

Looking at other options other than netapp for hardware / software support - was wondering who others on the list are using - both stateside and outside the US (OUS). Netapp seems a little too rigid in their pricing / support structure.
Thanks in advance for replies.
