Hello all,
I have a Windows user that has one our NetApps running 7.0.3 show up in his master browser list. He runs the following command:
browstat status
Is there a way to configure a NetApp to not participate in Windows browsing elections?
Thanks, Glenn
If it's all 2000/2003 on DNS you can disable netbios on the filer.
options cifs.netbios_over_tcp.enable off
If you stll use wins that's not such a good idea.
Short of that a reboot should pop it to something else in the list. I had Win98 machines back in the day that were masters eh...
