Greetings,
We have a filer running 7.3.7P1 and we had to run fsecurity to correct permissions/ownership of a tree. Is there any way to see anything to check the progress, see what path it is updating, etc?
We have no idea how long this job will take and it would be nice if there was something showing what it was doing.
Thanks,
Jeff

How about "fsecurity status"?
Per the 7.3.5 Command reference Manual:
The fsecurity status command displays the current status of any outstanding fsecurity jobs as well as the completion status of the previous 15 jobs. If a job id is specified, more detailed status of that particular job will be displayed.
It doesn't appear to tell you how long, timewise, but it might give some idea of the status/progress ...
Cheers, Robb.
Robb,
Unfortunately all it tells you is that is is "Working". There isn't anything else other than that.
Thanks,
Jeff
