Newbie here.... I'm setting up a FAS940 with NFS/CIFS. Is there a way to limit the hosts to which CIFS can be shared. Ala NFS "access=hostname.com" ?

CIFS access is controlled on a per-user basis, not on a per-host basis (which is how NFS does it). Each user will have to give their Windows login name and password to make a connection to (open a share on) the filer, so it doesn't really matter which host they do this from. All you have to do is tell the filer which Windows domain controller(s) to contact for CIFS login/password info.
