I have an F740 with 3 FC9 shelves loaded with 18gig drives. I have 3 FC9 shelves loaded with 36gig drives from another netapp I want to move to the F740.

If I add these drives to an existing volume but make them their own raid group, and leave one 36gig spare, that will not cause me any heartache will it?
