ndmpcopy problem

hi, i downloaded ndmpcopy 1.2 from ndmp.org when i first tried to make it on solaris 7 i got make: Fatal error: Unknown option `-C' *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all' from the src: SUBDIRS= lib src TARGETS = all clean $(TARGETS):: for i in $(SUBDIRS); do $(MAKE) -C $$i $@ || exit 1; done removing the '-C' does not correct the problem. suggestions? -- regards

I believe -C is a gmake option, but wouldn't swear to it. Dual CPU F840. Same capacity, expansion slots, etc. The second processor is for performance, not fault tolerance, and they're advertising 50% performance increase (purportedly; haven't seen benchmark data). Also, PC card drive replaces floppy. Oh, and the bezel is UUUUUUUGLY! Supposed to be orderable, even though it hasn't been publicly announced. What happenned to the archive?

You can do: snap create before_delete delete files snap delete before_delete But this will not bring you into any better situation than the beginning one... Usually I view it like a cake - you cannot eat it and expect it to be still complete - if you want to be able to restore files you will have to keep the snapshot. Snapshot Cheats?

List, Is there any way to cheat with snapshots so that data in them can be deleted? I have stupidly let a volume on my filer grow to capacity and want to free up space my moving files to another volume, if I just move the files I will get no gain in free disk space because the files will exist in the snapshot right?
