Check to see if the battery attached to your NVram is still alive. The ram
is probably ok. The battery probably died.

Could be. Run standalone diagnostics. I had trouble with my spare parts
filer and found that I needed to carefully reseat the NVRAM and then all the
problems disappeared. I hope you shutdown cleanly, otherwise you may have
scrambled eggs. My spare parts filer lost all its disk information and I
had to reload it. Lost everything.
