Hi, Geoff:
You're right -- the disk warranties are supposed to be in force only directly
with NetApp, but we have been able to get RMAs from Seagate for a number of
broken NetApp drives. It's hit or miss, but worth a minute to plug in the
serial numbers in hopes of getting lucky!
