Is Network Appliance sales closed for the year?

Found some leftover budget good til the end of the year so I thought I'd try to add some needed NetApp hardware. Silly me, NetApp isn't interested in any more sales. Local sales rep call rolls to 'out of office' voice mail. CAll local sales office main number, 4 rings, and rolls to same voice mail. Find the 800 number on the web page for 'North American sales', it rolls to another 'out for the holidays, be back next year' message, but gives a toll number to call for assistance. Called that, it went to voice mail. 3 hours later, no return calls. I guess I'll have to purchase other vendors' hardware instead. Its more valuable to part it out than sell it. It cost more to have maintenance on it than to buy it. RE: Real vs Raw disk space

I just installed a new Filer with 72GB BCS drives and they formatted to 68GB. FYI: The only ones that format differently (ZCS vs BCS) are the 36GB disks. Need to be careful here. Ex: A 36GB BCS drive can not "hot Spare" for a 36GB ZCS drive as the BCS drive formats to a lower capacity. Tom's math below is accurate, + or - a tad. Nicely done :-). Any horror stories upgrading to Ontap 6.1.1R2

Considering upgrading our 740 to Ontap 6.1.1R2. Any horror stories or words of infinite praise or wisdom? In all honesty 6.0.1R3 has been running like a charm, our firmware is up to date, but our disk firmware is NA02 and the latest and greatest is NA06. What cache value is what?

What does the "system board memory" value refer to in sysconfig? What does the NVRAM cache refer to? If I were to compute the "cache size" for a filer, which would I chose? I'm looking for the total size of the read and write cache for the filer.
