I didnt vi edit the file, just forgot the - in the message..

BUT..I found why it did not load. A host in the group was not resolving right, and Ive let the group know who is responsible for it..know.

/vol/volx access=Netgroup

That's basically the syntax that works for us. You may need to do something like:

/vol/volx -access=Netgroup

(leading "-" in front of list of export options)
