We do not yet support viewing the adtlog.evt file directly on the Filer. You will need to move the file to an NT client and then view it with Event Viewer locally.

I am not aware of a Unix utility that is able to read the .evt file format.

Ah, I see... you just point the NT Event Viewer utility to the file generated by the Netapp. Is there a UNIX utility to view the adtlog.evt file?
