feedback from a customer: in the past they used helios, but they moved to xinet ( www.xinet.com ). The performance is execlent and you can use the Snapshot-Feature from the NetApp Filer. Xinet is running on a Solaris-client which has mounted the Filer. The Solaris-box exports the mount via xinet to the Apples.
