No, they are within a qtree that is being shared, but they are not specifically shared themselves.

For some reason my filer won't let me delete a couple of folders. I have run into this problem before. It says access denied or folder in use, but I have administrative rights and I don't believe the folders to be in use (They are empty). If the directories are somehow open or locked, how do I determine what client has them open? How can I force the filer to relinquish the folders.
The directories are located within a NTFS style qtree.
