Hello folks,
using Networker 3.4 on a HP9000/J6000 and a F85 netapp NDMP host. I authorosize access to the NDMP host as follows:
set_ndmp_attr -auth matterhorn root
after which I'm asked to give me the password (twice). The command
set_ndmp_attr -list
suggest that every thing went okay
Record Type: Authentication NDMP Server: matterhorn Username : root Password : <registered> Record Type: Robotic Information NDMP Server: matterhorn Device : spt0 Controller : 5 SCSI Id : 1 SCSI LUN : 0
But real verification fails:
set_ndmp_attr -verify matterhorn
Connecting to host "matterhorn" as user "root"... Failed set_ndmp_attr: host "matterhorn" failed set_ndmp_attr: unable to continue
What's cooking? and what should I do to repair?
rgds,
