Hi,
I came across with this mailing list.
I would like to attach the Dell PowerVault 122T to NetApp FAS 3020. I want to know if there is any command so that the filer is able to recognize the PowerVault?
Please let me know.
Thanks Ricky
check the support matrix, and do a sysconfig -t, it picks up devices on it's own. There were very few device where u need to add a extra file and I think they were sony based.
u can down and up the storage intface as well if I't dosent pick it up right away, Can't rem off the top of my head but it should be a storage command. eg storage --- --

You can check the host adapter status (i.e., what it sees) with:
"sysconfig -a"
and disable it with
"storage disable -f adapter <adapt#>"
