This is based on the number of controllers. The 210 can have 14 4GB drives and the 330 can have 28 4GB drives. The main limitation on these filers is in the file system size.

Alexi got these right -- it's 14 and 28, respectively. The F330 uses single-ended drives so the four shelves are really four shelves, not two shelf pairs with one slot per pair taken up by the differential converter. Likewise for the F210, except you can only have one dual- SCSI card and thus two shelves instead of four.
