Has anyone sucessfully used a fairly large HSM solution with Netapp based storage? Any suggestions for the best product to use? We have ~20 filers in a mixed Unix/NT environment.
Veritas tells us that their product won't work with netapps. That was a bit surprising. Anyone know otherwise?

The Veritas HSM needs the extended inode that's available in the vxfs filesystem in order to track what is and what isn't physically online. These are unavailable on an NFS mounted filesystem. Doh! :)
I would also be interested to hear if anyone else knows of an HSM that does work with the NetApps... anyone? anyone? :)
