I'm a struggling HP salesperson desperately trying to get any leads I can, so I have resorted to spamming your mailing list in the hopes of suckering a poorly informed Netapp customer. To do so I will post links to years-old press releases about a different product than the one I want you to buy, which themselves contain broken links to other pages. These pages will tout performance numbers on an old, outdated benchmark (SFS93) that we barely managed to get in under the deadline before SPEC stopped accepting them in favor of the SFS97 benchmark, which we have not submitted results for. As you can see, our old server barely managed to edge out old products from Netapp in performance, and all we had to do was use two CPUs instead of one, 43 disks instead of 26, and 36 filesystems compared to Netapp's 1. Oh, and did we mention that was without RAID, and it will cost you more, too?
