Is the DLT-8000 supported in OnTap? I've been quoted a price on a DLT-8000 that is A$100 more than a DLT-7000, and when you're paying nearly A$8000 for a tape drive that seems like a good deal to me.

Hopefully a DLT-8000 should act like a DLT-7000 given the same tape density SCSI control codes.

I'd rather spend a little bit more money now for a drive with 12.5% more capacity, even if I have to wait for a newer release to get that extra density.
