I realise that giveback times depend on various factors including configuration and load. Generally our giveback protocol transit times have been at most 30 seconds. We recently gave back one Filer with neither controller under load and no obvious configuration changes and the protocol transit time for CIFS and NFS was approximately 70 seconds.
Is there any way to ascertain which component of a giveback contributed the most to the giveback and if it can be improved?
