Hi

There is an RFE (Request for Enhancement) to allow you to use the /etc/hosts.equiv for this in a similar way to what is possible on the filer; it is not currently scheduled. The RFE number is 73672. It might be worth contacting Sales to push to get this implemented.

It looks like I have to use the root password: -l root:password when I rsh. I don't have to with DOT and I'm not sure why I have to with NetcCache 5.6. I don't want to have a password in clear text go out on our network. But it looks like you don't have to use the password. Is that correct?
