Q: I need to be able to connect the new F760 to the existing tape library. Does anyone know if there is a host adapter (fast/wide) that I can plug into the F760? If not, then my second thought was a passive differential to single-ended adapter. Does anyone have any experience with that? The backup software is NetBackup.

We are using a converter made by "Paralan" to connect an F630 (FW single ended) to a tape robot (FW diff.) The unit is active (has a power cord) but has worked so well we often forget it's there.
