Hi toasters,
An urgent question.
There are soft links on my exported q-trees. the link is directed to files on another machine. When windows users want to acces the files, it always says pemission denied.
How to do with it?
I'm trying to get a HP surestore dlt1 to play nicely on the builtin SCSI port of a 760 running 6.1.1. The Knowledgebase lists a trick with 'cloned_tapes' to get unsupported drives to work, but I'm having no luck with it -- when I run 'mt -f rst0a status' as per the KB article, I simply get 'mt: illegal device rst0a' back and no /etc/cloned_tapes in the root volume... any ideas?
Thanks to the people who reminded me the onboard adapter really is for HVD devices, not LVD devices. Of course the drive I was trying was an LVD device...
