I've only taken the first basic exam, a while back at the urging of my
manager, and amusingly one of the things I got dinged on was that I
apparently did not know how to request replacement parts on the website,
despite the fact that I've been actually *doing* that periodically for
about 10 years now and have never had a problem.
Personally, my opinion is that while reading/studying the manuals will
probably get you close, you will have a tough time passing the tests
without actual administration experience. And conversely even years of
administration experience may not be enough to pass without some backup
studying as well, unless your lucky enough to work someplace that
utilizes almost all available Netapp products/functionality.

read the manuals left to right and you would do fine. The questions are
on commands, command options, concepts etc that are described in details
in the Block Admin guides.
