try avoid to use a filer netbios name near to the domain name to avoid bug 49275 if u plan to use the filer in a CIFS domain. i mean for example : MYDOM for the domaine and MYDOM_FILER for the filer or get that fresh almost bug free ontapp release 6.1.2

We are planning to use such configuration.

L85 filer NetApp Release 6.1.1R2

we want to use a samba server as domain controller for CIFS users.

How to configure the filer to use the samba controller as authentication machine for windows users ?

We also use UNIX users with NIS if it matter.
