I plan to change date to December 31th 1999 on our filer F720 with ONTAP 5.2.2 and see whether it is smoothly rollover to Year 2000 or not. Is there anybody have test it? I would like get some experience from you. Thank you in advance!!!

Here at Texas Instruments we tested DOT 5.2.1 as part of our Y2K readiness plan. The NetApp OS managed wonderfully. I have not seen the need to test any of the latest OS releases.

I have a filer that has been running in Y2K mode for almost a year now. We set the system exactly one year ahead last November and have had it and our test LAN, running in that mode for a year now. This F330 runs NFS and CIFS. In addition we have also followed the OS upgrades. We are at 5.3.2R1P1 right now ( Think that the correct version)
No Problems. Box performs as advertised.
