When I try to run ndmpcopy from one of my filers' (840s) console prompt, it locks up and does not release the console until after it is done not allowing me to type anything else in.
I realize that I can run ndmpcopy from any other hosts I'm just wondering if this is the correct behavior.
Thanks, George

Well it hasn't changed up to 6.3.2, anyway...
Do it via rsh/ssh from an admin host if you want to issue commands at the console while it is running.
The same is true of "vol copy start", by the way.

Hi -
Can anyone tell me how to configure a filer for a single head instead of daul head? Running 5.3.5R2.
Getting the following errors:
partner down! Iconnect down!
Thanks, ~kvs
remove the CLUSTER license I am not sure of the exact way you can do that with 6.3.X and greater, you can use license delete command (unavailable in your DOT version) reinstalling (or upgrading) the system should be a solution : boot the Filer with floppy and select 4 : zero disk but it will erase all of your data on disks
sorry
