Forgive me while I cringe.
I know of no way to delete a particular file from all snapshot copies other than removing the snapshots or rebuilding the system without the offending files. Do you need the snapshots for any reason?
Can you explain to the vendor that the snapshot copies are being treated no differently than backup tapes or snapvault copies? It's just for data protection.

Regardless. I don't think a software vendor can demand that. If it's deleted from the active servers, that should be enough. What are they going to do otherwise? Surprise you like the spanish inquisition and then search every microSD card that could possibly be hidden in every cavety for the forbidden sequence of bytes?
