Anyone use ldap with their filer? I am switching from nis to ldap and was curious if anyone had tried it? I'm using the Sun One Directory server, but it shouldn't matter which LDAP server.
Also, does anyone know if this can be tested with the mysterious "netapp simulator" I have heard about?

Yes. We use it with a Win2k LDAP server (straight LDAP not the Windows options).
Also, does anyone know if this can be tested with the mysterious "netapp simulator" I have heard about?
And yes the NetApp Sim worked for my testing.
