Yes, you can create a 2 drive aggregate in cDOT.
However, if you’re interested in 2 drive aggregates for the purposes of minimizing the amount of capacity you have to devote to the root aggregate, a better approach might be to leverage the root-data partitioning capability, available for entry-level and AFF platforms, running DataONTAP 8.3.
