Can you help me with the order of the installation of new windows server software: 1. Install Host Unilties? (Does that enable MPIO) 2. Install netapp DSM. Is there a short document on what steps to take Thanks
Install latest hotfixes (required for windows version) If installing on windows 2008, install MPIO feature (if you are using MPIO) Install driver (if using HBA) We install Qlogic software for other reasons Install DSM (good luck, we have had issues, and you may have to install former versions, so read the readme) Install snapdrive (if you paid for it) Install host utilities (if installing on a windows cluster, install the cluster, then re-install host utilities for appropriate disk timeouts
Good luck.

There is a big write up here that list the order the following way, is that correct?

1. FC/iSCSI Host Utilities for Windows 2. Multipath I/O for Windows 3. SnapDrive for Windows
