IM sure this has come up before, but has anyone attempted overclocking any of the older model filers?
Just curious how well they can (or cant) take the upgrades commonly available for 486 based systems.
Thanks

I replaced the pentium 90's in our old 330's with AMD K5-120's. Worked just fine, plug 'n'play.

Results can be mixed. It can work fine most of the time and then crash in unique timing situatoins. The upside in upgrading the CPU of any filer is generally fairly small, since there are bottlenecks in other areas and you won't get the full benefit of the new CPU.
