The fact about your employment is relevant for the reader to evaluate your comment. I give more credibility to comment from "neutral" party. Comment from competitor gets lowest credibility.
If you work for a company which is not a NetApp competitor, I wouldn't care. Since you work for EMC, you should disclose that fact somewhere in the message.
