I am one month into a Qualstar 4440 with 2 AIT2 drives. So far, no problems :) Using Veritas NetBackup with one AIT2 drive direct attached to the NetApp. The other drive is connected to a Ultra10 and does the rest of the network. The Qualstar is rack mounted, though the footprint is not small.

Neil, Qualstar and Overland Data are pretty good ones. Overland you can add on in a small rack area.
