Do incremental updates work with ndmpcopy or are you stuck doing it all in a single level 0 chunk?

We are running 4.2aD9 and I have about 25 GB of data to move around. A level 0 ndmpcopy looks like it will take about 5 hours.

I just read in the ndmpcopy manual that you need 4.3 to do this.

Assuming that's true. Can I do an ndmpcopy at level 0 and then do a level 1 dump/restore via a Unix client?
