Alexandre, Stupid question: what SCSI connector is the jukebox on the NetApp attached to?? It cannot be the ones labled 9a or 9b, it needs to be connected to the one labled SCSI 0, on the bottom of the box, next to the console and diag serial ports.

Good morning everybody, Good Morning Tom and Paul,
I was looking on my Network Appliance Server and I need to connect my jukebox robotics on the SCSI 0 of my network like Tom told me. The problem is that the cable has 68 pins and the SCSI 0 of my Network Appliance has 50 pins. I must use a cable that convert of 68 to 50 pins or what I have to do ???? Before it was connect on SCSI 9b and it has 68 pins.....
Thanks !!!
Alexnadre, Yes you will have to get a new SCSI cable, that would be my suggestion.

Be careful. The 50 pin connector sounds like a single ended fast scsi adapter, the 68 pin one could be a differential one. The you need a diff to se converter.

Alexandre, Whoa, did not consider that, I betcha that is what is going on, you do have a jukebox that has a differential port and your NetApp does not have one....

How I can discover what kind of SCSI my jukebox and my network Appliance have ?. Becouse like I said before Tom told me that I must to connect my jukebox on the SCSI 0 of my nework Appliance and the conection on the robotics is of 68 to 68 pins and my SCSI 0 ( of Network Appliance) has just 50 pins. How I decied if I have to use just a cable that convert of 68 to 50 pins or other thing ????
