Any ideas? This is a busy system so rebooting from floppy to bypass the rc file and then trying another admin host is something I'd like to avoid, though at this stage I don't see an alternative.
You can unexport root using "exportfs -u /" (note that the root may alternatively be exported as /vol/vol0/ at release 5.x)
You can use "exportfs -i -o access=new.admin.host,root=new.admin.host /" to re-export the root directory to a different host or list of hosts.

Thanks, that's just what I was looking for; exports is now edited and all is well.
