I have a 740 with a 4-Port nic card. We are running both WINS and DNS (and the respective addresses are static-mapped). I have attached each port to a different subnet (they are all connecte via routers). When i run setup, it asks for each nic address and subnet mask, howerver it only asks for one gateway address for all. Only the nic that corresponds to the gateway will respond. How can i configure a default gateway for each port?

You mean you can't even ping the other NICs from clients on their subnet?

You can't. The default gateway is used when routing to *non-attached* networks which don't otherwise have routes (always the case in a filer). If the default route is needed, that means there's no other clue which way the packet should go -- including what NIC it should use -- so it wouldn't make any sense to have more than one default gateway.
