Virtual interface (vif, Etherchannel, link aggregation, your-name-here) takeover/giveback is not supported in 5.2.x

The 5.3 release supports virtual interface takeover/giveback.

Thanks, I'll write that little gem in my 5.2.1 manual... Did anyone consider putting this info in the System Administrator's Guide? the Cluster Conversion Guide, how 'bout somewhere on the NOW site? I try to be a good little user and RTFM, but if the FM doesn't have the info... :(
